Q. What is a Corks and Canvas event like?
A. A fun, social, group setting, with an artist to guide you step by step in replicating the nights featured painting. By the end of the evening you will create a fabulous piece of artwork! The event times vary, but we suggest arriving 30 minutes early to get the seat of your choice. Events are approximately 3 hours with a couple of breaks. Corks and Canvas is an adult event, no children are permitted unless it is a specified all ages class.
Q. Do I need to sign up in advance?
A. Yes, you must register on our website and sign up for classes there. If needed, you can give us a call and we will be happy to walk you through the registration process. You may show up at the event and sign up, however, we cannot guarantee that there will be an available seat.
Q. What is the cost of a Corks and Canvas event?
A. The price is $35 per class. This includes everything except for the food and drink which may be purchased from the venue if desired. Contact us about doing a fundraiser and we would be happy to work with you!
Q. What is included in the price?
A. We provide the Artist, Canvas, Paint, Brushes, Easels, and Aprons. Food and beverages are not included and may be purchased from the restaurant if desired.
Q. What do I wear?
A. We provide aprons, but you may want to wear something you wouldn't mind getting paint on-- just in case!
Q. What time do I need to arrive for an event?
A. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to get signed in and seated. Seating is on a first come first serve basis, so if you have a large group and a full class we recommend arriving early.
Q. Are any events BYOB (bring your own bottle)?
A. No, none of the public events are BYOB. All food and beverages may be purchased from the restaurant. A Private Event may be done however, and wherever, you want though!
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Corks and Canvas is an entertainment event much like a concert, dinner theater or movie theater. We do allow cancelations or reschedules as long as it is within 6 hours of the scheduled event time. Cancellations should be made by phone only (do not email). This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. You will not be eligibile for a refund or class creidt if not cancelled 6 hours in advance. (Public classes are subject to cancellation without a minimum of 10 attendees. Cancellations are very rare and customers will be notified via phone and/or email of cancelled classes.)
Q. When does the new schedule come out?
A. The new schedule will post on the 20th of the previous month. We are always updating our schedule with new venues, so please “like” us on Facebook so you receive notification of the new events.
Q. How often will you repeat paintings? I missed one that I really wanted to paint.
A. Please let us know! If a painting is very popular we will keep it in mind for the next schedule! You may also request to paint any painting at one of our Open Studio Classes. Simply contact us beforehand so that we can ensure we bring it along!
Q. The class I wanted to attend is full! Is there any way I can be added to a waiting list in case you have any cancellations?
A. Yes. Just email us via our "Contact" tab . Be sure to include your name, phone number, the date, and name of the event you would like to attend. In the event we have a cancellation, we will give you a call.
Q. Do I need to have a PayPal account to pay for a class or my gift certificates?
A. No, once you have clicked the “Enroll Now” button, everything is handled automatically through Corks and Canvas’ Paypal account.
Q. Corporate Team Building: Is a Corks and Canvas Private Event right for corporate gatherings?
A. These company's think so! Google, Apple, Microsoft, Ebay, Zappos, MGM Resorts and Casinos, Direct TV, Zenith Insurance, ReMAX, Lilly, Roche, Pfizer, General Mills, Hormel Foods, Xcel Energy, Cardinal Health, Genentech, just to name a few! And yes, we can come to you!
Q. How many people do I need for a Private Event?
A. We require a 10 person minimum charge for a private event. This does not mean you must have at least 10 people attend! You will be charged for a minimum of 10 people even if you only have 6 people in your party. You will be required to provide the venue, food, and all beverages. Corks and Canvas provides everything else. We can have an event for as many people as you would like!
Q. How far will you travel for a Private Event?

Q. Do you have any events for children?
A. Yes, we have atleast one regular monthly class for ALL AGES so that kids may attend as well. We can aldo do private events for children. We call it Kids & Canvas. You provide the venue, the food, and beverage. We will show up and provide everything else. Same as above...we require a 10 person minimum charge for a private event. Q. Is there an age limit for Corks and Canvas?
A. Yes. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed at a Corks and Canvas event (except for ALL AGES events). We want to respect everyone’s painting night out!
