Corks and Canvas started out not too long ago as a fun idea for everyone to get out and have a good time.  We wanted a relaxed and stress-free environment... what it turned into was much more!  We want you to have a night out with friends (new and old), fun filled memories to always remember, and your own unique masterpiece to take home and hang on a wall.  The only thing we cannot guaratee is that you won't become addicted!

After a little hard work (and a lot of paint and wine) we now have a group of talented artists that work with us to ensure you have the best experience we can offer!  Meet a few of them and see the many different backgrounds they come from.  Each has their own teaching and painting style that helps to make Corks and Canvas unique!

Haley Cooper

"Hi! My name is Haley! I love painting, drawing, and graphic designing! I've been doing all things art since I could hold a pencil! I am getting my degree in graphic design, but the Fine Arts are my favorite!

Michelle Gleason

Hi, everyone! I'm Michelle, 33 years old and have lived in Augusta for 30 of those years. I'm a full-time Graphic Design student, having returned to school about a year and a half ago. Along with my visual arts interests I also have a fairly diverse music collection, am a bit of a stand-up comedy addict, love horror movies and reading, and am a PC gamer. I share my life with close friends, two sugar gliders, Josh and Biff, and my cat, Maggie.

Sharon Seals

Hi!  My name is Sharon and I love art, chocolate, wine, and anything fun and interesting! I grew up in the family of a wildlife photographer and started drawing from photographs before I was too little to remember. I actually used to be in the Navy (not as a painter), and when I got out I decided to pursue my real passions!  I now work in all mediums and love helping people uncork their inner talent!

Amy Wheeler

Hello, my name is Amy Wheeler. Ever since I can remember, I have always been an artist. I love to create, especially with paint. I love it so much I choose to study it in college and now, here I am teaching what I've learned to you! I also really enjoy teaching and I look forward to seeing you at my next class.
